Skills into Employment programmes

Our Skills to Employment programmes are designed for people close to the entering the labour market and include short intensive training in work skills, for people wanting to re-enter the workforce quickly. These programmes are primarily aimed at adults aged over 19 who have been unemployed for 6 months or more. However these programmes could also be accessed by adults unemployed for less than 6 months at the discretion of Job Centre Plus.

In addition, there are also programmes which provide a clear pathway into a specific occupational sector or job role. Literacy and Numeracy provision can also be delivered for these individuals, if required.
